The adapted text of Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt ‘Oscar and Lady in Pink’ will be performed as a melodramatic story with a bit of irony and timeless topics such as life and death, loneliness and finding the path and faith.
The idea
The aim of performance is to create a nostalgic atmosphere framed with classical music, philosophy of life and world of imagination.
The story
It is a heartbreaking story about the child who is suffering from cancer. Tring to cheer the child up, Granny Rose proposed to write each day letter to God and pretend that 1 day=15 years. The child, which at first doesn’t believe that God even exist, go through the different situation and ….. you will see.
The action takes place in the hospital in December before and after Christmas, which is kind of symbolic in terms of dialogue with God. For an hour of the performance you are invited to see and feel this story, be an audience, who observe the path of acceptance, be part of the life where you can't change the circumstances, but you can fully live last days....
